Source Policy
LongCat Community Hub is an independent third-party resource. This policy explains how we select, label, verify, and update information published on this site.
This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meituan or LongCat.
Source hierarchy
We prioritize verifiable primary sources. When multiple source types are available, we rely on the most direct evidence first.
- Official announcements and technical posts published by the relevant organization.
- Official project pages and repositories maintained by the relevant organization.
- Original research papers, technical reports, and license files.
- Reputable third-party reporting or analysis, clearly labeled as third-party sources.
- Independent tests conducted by this site, clearly labeled as independent tests.
Lower-priority sources are not used to establish technical claims when a primary source is available.
How sources are labeled
Every source on this site is tagged with a label that describes its origin and relationship to the topic.
- Official: a source published by the relevant organization.
- Repository: a source hosted in an official or verified project repository.
- Paper: an original research paper or technical report.
- Third-party: reporting or analysis produced by an independent publisher.
- Independent test: a test conducted by this site, with methodology and limitations disclosed.
- Editorial: analysis or opinion that should not be read as an official statement.
Verification and updates
- Each model entry shows a "Last verified" date when available.
- Source links are reviewed when material details change or when a page is updated.
- Model facts, capabilities, release information, and license information should be traceable to cited sources.
- Information can change after publication; readers should consult primary sources before making technical, commercial, or legal decisions.
Independent testing
- Independent tests are separate from source-based model overviews.
- When independent tests are published, the page should disclose the test date, model/version where known, method, prompts or task design where appropriate, scoring approach, and limitations.
- A source-based overview is not itself an independent performance endorsement.
Editorial independence
- This site may provide explanations and comparisons for educational purposes.
- Editorial analysis is clearly separated from cited factual claims where possible.
- Mentions of products, models, or organizations do not imply partnership, authorization, or endorsement.
Corrections
- Readers may report factual errors, outdated citations, or broken links.
- Verified corrections are reflected in the relevant page and may update the "Last verified" date.
